ABS or POLYPROPYLENE?
Whether you need a case for transporting sensitive equipment on a military mission or protecting your camera while travelling, you have to choose between ABS or Polypropylene. Depending on the requirements, either ABS or PP will perform better and last longer in your specific conditions. If you're not sure which option is best for you, contact us for an advice.
ABS, a short for Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene, is durable and rigid plastic, which resists freezing temperatures better than PP. ABS can be solvent welded, so modifications/ customization options are almost limitless. It can also be field repaired, making ABS the perfect choice for expeditions or military missions. All our ABS cases are UV-resistant as we add a UV inhibitor to the raw material, unlike our competitors.
Polypropylene (PP) is automobile grade with microcellular foam for weight reduction and solid additives for shape stability. PP cases are 20% lighter and more impact resistant than ABS ones. PP has a very high chemical resistance, so it can be used to store corrosive materials. However, it cannot be glued or solvent welded back together (i.e., field repaired) if damaged. Accessories such as panel rings must be attached to the case with screws, not glue, limiting customization. PP perform better than ABS when it gets hot but cracks more easily when it is cold.
REMOVABLE HINGE ROD
The hooked rod allows you to easily remove the lid from the body of the case by rotating the tab. Removal is only possible when the lid is open, preventing theft of the contents.
Case lid and bottom canot be separated while padlocks are attached.

PULL-UP HANDLE
Loadout Case pull-up handles are made of super-strong thermoplastic composite and make transporting your case a breeze.
A handle lock allows it to be securely locked into place, extended or retracted.
RUGGED HARDWARE
3 Spring-loaded powder-coated galvanized steel handles stay out of the way when not in use. The two stainless steel Twist-Lock Latches offer a secure closure.
Both sides of the Loadout Case are equipped with a molded-in padlock loop (1/4 in dia) for added security.
WIDE, DURABLE WHEELS
Our wheels are custom-made from ultra-strong urethane. The wheel’s shaft is shock-mounted, so it absorbs the shock, not your gear. Our hard protective transport cases will protect your items regardless of what terrain they travel over.
